How do I know?  I have been there. 

Hitting middle age felt like a jolt. As I was coming out of a 20-year marriage, watching my children leave for their own journeys, moving between countries, and winding down my business, I embarked on a solo journey, hoping to find myself in this big world.

Through therapy, I began to look inward and made a profound shift in my career, transitioning from an entrepreneur to becoming a therapist. I moved from constant anxiety and people-pleasing to prioritizing my own needs and finding peace within myself. It was a long journey, but I’ve finally found a place of calm and happiness.

I want to apply what I’ve learned from my journey and the wisdom I’ve gained to join you on your path. Together, I hope we can find healing, freedom, empowerment, and a sense of peace and calm.

I’m here to meet you where you are, but that doesn’t mean I won’t ask tough questions to help you reach your goals. While I’m not an expert on your life, you’re in charge of the path you choose. About Collective Illume

Collective Illume is a therapy practice founded by Margaret Oh, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist licensed in California (CA 154451), Nevada (NV 5126-R), Georgia (MFT002246), and Florida (FL TPMF1746). The practice offers individual therapy, couples therapy, and family therapy, with specializations in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), trauma therapy, and empowerment-focused therapy.
